Our Approach
To Frontier Exploration

Four principles ground the program: the geology, the contract, the capital structure, and the controls institutional partners expect.

About Colossal Energy

Every decision is grounded in geology and geophysics: well data, seismic, velocity, rock physics, geochemistry, magnetics, gravity and basin modelling. The Comoros lies adjacent to a proven hydrocarbon fairway and shares common play elements with the successful Mozambique gas fields.

Capital is staged to evidence, not to schedule. No commitment moves forward without the proof from the prior stage.

A Production Sharing Contract with the Union of the Comoros grants exclusive exploration rights to blocks 36, 39 and 40, under stable fiscal terms.

Transparency, internal controls and reporting standards built for institutional capital.

Advancing a
Frontier Basin

Four lines of evidence underpin the programme: the acreage, the survey, the regional analog, and the contractual framework.

Colossal Energy holds exclusive deepwater exploration rights to Blocks 36, 39 and 40 in the Comoros Basin, under a Production Sharing Contract with the Union of the Comoros.

The basin sits on the downdip extension of the Rovuma Basin, where more than 200 Tcf of gas has been confirmed. Seismic and magnetic data define the structural framework.

The programme is phased — moving from seismic acquisition and interpretation through to appraisal — so that capital is committed incrementally as technical evidence accumulates.

Colossal Energy is led by a management team with a demonstrated track record monetizing successful drilling results in oil & gas exploration, including the $1.35 billion.
